Year 2 have been learning about the polar regions and this week they have focused on the Arctic. We learnt about the Inuit people and discussed the clothing they wore. We looked at a real reindeer skin and wrapped up in it to feel the warmth. Normally the Inuits have two layers of reindeer skin but as it is 8 oC today we should be ok!
