A prickly visit

The Pre-Prep had an extra special visitor this morning.  We welcomed Mr Graham Bowring and his hedgehogs Henry and Harry.  Year 2 have been learning about Beatrix Potter and this week are looking at St TiggyWinkles wildlife hospital and Mrs TiggyWinkle.  We have all learnt how to look after hedgehogs and were able to stroke Harry.  Harry is much more tame as he has been poorly for a few years and Graham has looked after him for 3 years.  We were fascinated to know that, prior to his retirement, Graham used to have as many as 102 hedgehogs whilst he ran a hedgehog sanctuary in Hampshire.
