Year 2 have been trying to get to grips with large amounts of money and using the £. p notation correctly. Here Isaac made £35.66 using a variety of notes and coins; he then talked to his partner about different ways of making the same amount.
In Forest School this week the Pre-Prep children made som Hapa Zomes for their mummies. This literally translates as "leaf dye" in Japanese and that is excatly what it is. Flowers and leaves are bashed with a mallet onto fabric and their natural colous are left behind.
