Freddie England, (Year 7) spent last weekend at a training camp ahead of the Gothia Cup which takes place in the summer.
280 of the best prep school footballers from 56 schools attended trials ls in November in order to join one of the sqauds training for this international competition. Of these, just 58 were chosen for the U12 and U13 squads.
Three Coaches' Awards were made to each squad and Freddie was one of those chosen. A great achievement for Freddie - well done!

Despite having a number of children missing due to illness, we still managed to stage a competitive inter-house cross-country race. This year, there was a newly devised course and runners were put into relay teams. The combination of a good viewing area for spectators and supporters with the fact it was a team event, all created a great atmosphere around the course. There were some strong individual performances, with Max Meyrick running the fastest lap in 6 minutes 14 seconds for Sims, but in the end it was Hutchinson who gave the overall best team performance to take the prize.read more
Today we had great fun making flower pot bread and enjoyed kneading the dough. Miss Venables Kyrke snuck into Mr McGregor’s garden last night to borrow some flower pots. The children made bread with honey in and seeds decorated the top. I was really impressed with their extra large rolls too which they made with left over dough.read more
