Cross Country Triumph

Our runners had a superb afternoon at the Seaford U10 and U11 Cross Country Event this afternoon.

Competing against 8 other schools: Barrow Hills, Conifers, Dunhurst, Frensham Heights, Prebendal, St Hillary’s, Seaford and Westbourne House, and with 40 runners in each age group, our teams achieved 1st place in the U10 girls and U11 boys categories.

The U10 girls included four who are a year young for this category. Ella Lawson came 1st and Alice Crowley 3rd and they were supported by Bonnie Minassian, Phoebe Hughes and Molly Ormerod to take 1st place in this age group.

The U10 boys faced stiffer competition and were not placed although they fought hard with Sean Scrase coming 3rd and Sebastian Darmon 4th, supported by Felix Nield and Bruno Heggie.

The U11 boys achieved the best score of the day overall and won their category with Tom Saunders coming 1st, Charlie Manger 2nd , Benji Jackson 3rd, Sam Green 10th and Hugo Ormerod 11th.
