Y4 had the exciting and rare opportunity to experience Gamelan music from Indonesia.
Metalophones, drums and gong type instruments combine to make up the Gamelan which is seen as one entity. The instruments are all hand made, carved and decorated and very precious. The children learnt about the culture as well as learning and performing a piece called Barris from the island of Bali. What fun!
