Year 2 had a wonderful trip aboard the duck. We saw most of the famous sites around London and cruised along the River Thames past the Houses of Parliament. The Amphibious vehicles were once used during the 2nd World War to transport troops.
Year 2 and Reception visited the Brighton Aquarium on Friday as part of their learning about the Seaside. We saw lots of different sea creatures and some of the children even fed the turtles. We enjoyed our picnic lunch on the beach as the weather was lovely.
Reception spent the morning with Mr Keane in the Science lab. They built circuits and used water rockets on the sports pitches. We certainly have a group of budding scientists as they were able to talk about gravity and hypothesise about the circuits.
